Orutsararmiut Native Council (ONC) - tribal government, enrollment and tribal ID

ONC is the federally recognized tribe for the Native Village of Bethel, governed by a seven-member Traditional Council elected each spring at the Annual Tribal Membership Gathering. The office at 117 Alex Hately Dr (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) handles tribal enrollment and tribal ID cards, address updates, 477 programs (General Assistance, Burial Assistance, LIHEAP, child care, scholarships), Social Services, Housing, Natural Resources and Tribal Court. Call 907-543-2608 or toll-free in Alaska 800-478-2654; fax 907-543-2639. Your ONC enrollment number (on your tribal ID) is needed for most programs.
