Bethel Volunteer Emergency Services Association (BVESA)

BVESA is the 501(c)(3) volunteer group behind the Bethel Fire Department. Volunteers respond to fire and EMS calls year-round, and the association gives monetary aid to fire victims, donates to local charities, does fire-prevention education in Bethel and nearby villages, and funds the Bethel New Year's Eve fireworks. It runs 'Bethel Bikes' - a free family bike-safety ride every Saturday at 2 pm in summer from the Fire Department - and an annual Mud Volleyball Tournament fundraiser in July with a Grant Aviation ticket raffle. Contact through the Bethel Fire Department, 320 Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy, 907-543-2131.
