Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (KRITFC)

KRITFC co-manages Kuskokwim River salmon with the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge and posts every subsistence fishing opener, closure and gear rule for the season. Call or text the Bethel office at 907-545-7388 or email info@kritfc.org with fishing questions. During the salmon season they run a river-wide teleconference every Tuesday at 10 AM (Zoom or dial 888-788-0099, meeting ID 870 1746 8838, no passcode) and a call-in 'Fish Talk' on KYUK 640 AM Mondays 1-2 PM. All announcements, harvest estimates and the in-season newsletter are at kuskosalmon.org/2026-fishing-info; they also hire village harvest monitors (CBHM program) each summer.
