TWC Civil Legal Advocacy (protective orders, VCCB, court help)

Free help navigating the legal side of violence or family crisis. TWC advocates assist with protective orders, Violent Crimes Compensation Board (VCCB) applications, VINELink offender-notification signup, monitoring criminal cases, court accompaniment, working with the District Attorney's office, victim impact statements, divorce/custody paperwork, referrals to lawyers and counselors, and practical help like faxing, printing or emailing paperwork for jobs or housing. Partners include the Family Law Self-Help Center, Alaska Legal Services (ALSC), Office of Victims' Rights and ANDVSA's pro bono program.
