Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) & Alaska Education Grant - ACPE
State money for Alaska high-school graduates going to an Alaska college or training program. APS pays up to $7,000/yr (3.5 GPA or ACT 25/SAT 1210), $5,250 (3.0 GPA or ACT 23/SAT 1130) or $3,500 (2.5 GPA or ACT 21/SAT 1060/WorkKeys 12) for up to 8 semesters within 8 years of graduation; you must complete the APS curriculum, file the FAFSA by June 30 each year, enroll in 12+ credits and have $500+ unmet cost. The Alaska Education Grant gives $500-$4,000 need-based to Alaska residents (365+ days) with no bachelor's degree - the FAFSA is the application, awarded by FAFSA date.
