Ketchikan Wellness CoalitionThe Giving Table is a volunteer run taskforce currently focused on grab and go food in schools for youth. Thanks for your work within our community! Over Monday and Tuesday this week, The Giving Table, delivered $3,000 worth of food to six schools, helping fill their food pantries as the new school year begins. Behind every shelf we stock is a child who may be facing the school day hungry—someone who deserves the chance to learn, play, and grow without worrying about where their next meal will come from. This is only the beginning, and we know there is still much more work to do. We are ready to meet that challenge one child at a time, one mouth at a time, and one pantry at a time. I cannot say enough about Deb, Danielle, and Lori and how grateful I am we came together to form The Giving Table. Together, we share one unwavering goal: to keep these pantries stocked so every child has access to food when they need it. ❤️ We are also deeply grateful to PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center for its incredible $10,000 donation. Your generosity will reach children throughout our community every time they walk into a pantry and find a snack or something to eat. This gift will help turn empty shelves into comfort, nourishment, and hope for countless kids. A heartfelt thank-you also goes to the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition for welcoming our organization as a task force and helping us strengthen and expand this mission. Support from community partners like you makes it possible to reach more schools, serve more children, and move closer to ending childhood hunger. This is just the start. There are more shelves to fill, more snacks to deliver, and more children who deserve to know that their community cares about them. Together, we can make sure no child has to learn on an empty stomach—one child at a time and one mouth at a time. The Giving Table mission is simple: Stock the pantry. Feed the kids. End childhood hunger. ❤️The Giving Table1
